Call for Alternative Water Resources

Tunisia, facing increasingly frequent droughts, has issued an urgent call to find alternative water resources. The authorities emphasize that achieving water security targets has become a national priority. With a growing population and climatic constraints, the country is seeking to diversify its water sources to avoid a critical situation. Smart irrigation projects, research on rainwater and groundwater exploitation are underway. These initiatives aim to optimize the use of existing resources while reducing dependence on imports. The government also encourages citizens to be aware of the importance of water conservation. Experts warn of the consequences of inadequate water resource management. They stress the need to implement sustainable policies and promote regional cooperation to share water resources. Tunisia needs quick and effective solutions to avoid a crisis that could affect every Tunisian.
