Weather Forecast for Friday, November 6, 2026

Friday, November 6, 2026, is expected to be an unusual day in Tunisia, marked by record high temperatures and unprecedented rainfall. This exceptional weather raises questions about the accelerated impact of climate change in the Mediterranean region. ⏱️ 1 min read. The facts and recent developments. This phenomenon fits into a broader trend: since 2020, Tunisia has experienced extreme weather variations linked to global warming. The UN warned in 2025 that the Mediterranean would be one of the most affected regions by climate disruption, with temperatures rising by 3 to 5°C by 2040. This reality is now evident with prolonged droughts and torrential rains, disrupting agriculture and water resources. Data analysis reveals an unprecedented climate fragmentation: central Tunisia is experiencing rains similar to those in western Europe, while the south resembles an expanding desert. This divergence worries scientists, as it could accelerate climate migration and water conflicts in the region. Tunisian authorities, in collaboration with the European Union, are considering investing in water storage infrastructure and smart irrigation systems. The coming weeks should confirm whether these anomalies are signs of a new Mediterranean climate. Predictive models indicate a 70% probability of a milder and drier winter in 2027, which could disrupt agricultural cycles. As a key country in the Mediterranean, Tunisia must position itself as a major player in the fight against climate change, combining technological innovation and international cooperation. ⚡ Key points ▸ Temperatures will exceed 28°C in the shade, an unprecedented level for this time of year, reflecting an increasing trend in heatwaves. ▸ The precipitation
