✅ Good news — Flash Radio shares this positive update with you. The Tunisian Association of Patients with Primary Immunodeficiencies (ATun-DIPs) has won the 3rd prize of the IPOPI BIG Community Award, an international distinction recognizing outstanding initiatives by patient associations. Founded in 2018 as part of the project 'Improvement of Care for Tunisian Children with Primary Immunodeficiencies, ATun-DIPs', supported by the Pasteur Institute of Tunis and funded by the Directorate of International Cooperation of Monaco, the association is part of a dynamic aimed at improving care for patients with primary immunodeficiencies (DIPs) in Tunisia.
This recognition highlights the commitment of ATUN-DIPs members, chaired by Dr. Meriam Ben Ali, a researcher at the LTCII laboratory of the Pasteur Institute of Tunis, in favor of improving patient care. It underscores the synergy between scientific research, medical expertise, and associative engagement in service of patients and their families. Through initiatives carried out in collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, national institutions, and international partners, ATUN-DIPs contributes to raising awareness about DIPs, promoting early diagnosis, and improving the quality of life for those affected. The Pasteur Institute of Tunis applauds this international recognition, which attests to the importance of collaboration between scientific research and patient associations.
