Good News — Flash Radio shares this positive update with you. The National Center of Cinema and Image (CNCI) is participating in the celebrations held at the Chedly Klibi Cultural City to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Japan, organized from October 30 to November 1, 2026. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Japan, the CNCI is organizing film screenings at the Tahar Chériaa Hall on Fridays and Sundays, as well as at the Ciné 350 Hall, which will host the screening of the Japanese film Kokuho – The Master of Kabuki, directed by Lee Sang-il, on Saturday at 6:30 PM, in its world premiere in the Arab world and Africa. This participation is part of an effort to strengthen cultural and cinematic relations between the two countries, promote artistic exchanges, and consolidate ties between Tunisian and Japanese cultures through the seventh art.
The Saturday screening will be followed by a discussion around the film, in the presence of Sofiane ElFani, the film’s multiple award-winning cinematographer and member of the technical team of the feature film. This meeting will provide an opportunity to share experiences, exchange views on the work, and contribute to the strengthening of Tunisia-Japan cinematographic cooperation.
