I made many calls, including to the consulate. I am exhausted.” The victim was participating in a video training session with a work colleague in her apartment when a man reportedly broke in and struck her with a blunt object, according to Canadian media reports. The link between the main suspect, a man known to the police who was not found after the incident, and the victim has not been established, sources added. She had just moved into her condominium, which she bought last June, according to property records. “A small condo that she had just bought, which she was in the process of renovating. She didn't even have time to see it finished,” her sister lamented, who does not understand how a person “very, very dangerous” could be out on the streets and commit such a crime.
