The third Russia-Africa summit kicks off today, Wednesday, October 28, in Moscow. The format is the same as the first two editions, held in Sochi in 2019 and St. Petersburg in 2023: two days of discussions and meetings, this time in the heart of the capital, in a prestigious setting, with a particularly involved Vladimir Putin.
Without concrete results so far, Russia aims to give the impression of hosting its guests well and demonstrating its influence on the continent.
